In the year 1968, Maslakh wildlife sanctuary of Pakistan, was identified as Wildlife Sanctuary at National level in Pakistan. The mostly dry rugged terrain is located near the capital city of Balochistan, Quetta. It covered an area of around 465 square kilometers.
